also known as The Workboot Councillor, and I proudly represent the district as Deputy Mayor on the Kaipara Council.

I firmly believe the Kaipara District Council should be run for the benefit of our local ratepayers.

That means I'm all about putting on my work boots and making sure the important stuff gets done by Council for our local community.

Whether that's supporting community projects, lobbying council members, cutting through internal bureaucracy, representing your views and opinions, or something else.

I'm here to make sure YOUR voice is heard by the Kaipara District Council.

What I stand for

I have been actively involved in the Kaipara area all of my life. I want to make sure Kaipara District Council invests in the ongoing improvements of our local services and recreational facilities so that residents and ratepayers can truly enjoy the outstanding lifestyle that our district offers.

SERVICEI'm here to serve our local community. To help you find the information you need, to listen to concerns and feedback you have, and to give you a voice at the Council's decision-making table. Let's put ratepayers' interests first.

INCLUSIVITYWe live in a beautiful area and as our population grows it's important we listen to and consider the opinions and concerns of everyone in our district so our community can grow in an inclusive, well-considered way.

VALUE FOR MONEYAs a small district we have limited resources, and most Council activities are funded by rates. I push for efficiency at Council so ratepayers get the best value for money as possible. Wherever possible I look for opportunities for external funding to get projects completed
